Product approval, not an ingredient shortcut.
We match the named product, active ingredient, route, dosage form, and listed strengths against the official Drugs@FDA data files. Only records with an approved original application and a current prescription or over-the-counter marketing status are accepted. A DailyMed page or an NDC number alone is not treated as approval evidence.
What this catalog excludes.
Compounded medications, dietary supplements, devices, veterinary products, tentative approvals, discontinued products, and formulations that cannot be verified are excluded. An approved injectable does not establish approval of an oral capsule, troche, or compounded version of the same ingredient.
